Podcast plans

This week I was interviewed by Gene Steinberg of the MacNightOwl for his regular podcast. I am excited to find out what I sound like, because I was talking off the cuff. When I get too excited about what I’m talking about, I forget to listen to what I sound like.

I have been thinking about doing a podcast of my own. I tried listening to a few different podcasts listed in the iTMS, but I guess I’m not a sit and listen sort of guy. Some are really painful to listen to, but probably particularly for me, because I have a hard time with half listening to something while doing other things; it commands too much of my attention.

Steinberg has a great radio appearance however, and the experience makes me think it would be fun to do a very short weekly podcast review of my stories, perhaps to capture an audience who’d rather listen to an abbreviated overview in a radio format than read through the full text of my articles.

I also set up a subscription arrangement for readers interested in contributing toward my hosting operations. There’s links on my About RoughlyDrafted page.
