It would be useful to cover the other, dying breeds of Linux/Unix operating systems that have been designed for smart phones, highlighting the differences, i.e. Maemo runs Gnome as an interface. While most of them are dead, and won&#039;t return, it&#039;s still useful to compare the various technologies.</description>

		<description>Beautiful article, nicely balanced in tone and full of useful and new (at least to me) information.

Apparently computers are too complicated beasts to be contained in one simple standard which implies added value for a platform manager who combines all those possibilities to something that really works. Which leaves lots of questions to think about...</description>
