As is so often the case with Microsoft, the "bug" can become the "feature." In some future ad a "technically savvy" buyer, like Giampaolo, can cite the ability to "downgrade the OS" as a reason to buy a boat-anchor of a Windows laptop over the "otherwise sexy" Apple laptop! Cha-ching! In pour the customers (to the Apple stores, that is.) Perhaps Microsoft can spin this point of fact in their next “Random Computer Shopper” ad.
