My iPhone 3G NEVER gets anywhere need even 1Mbps in NYC (average is 300kbps). When I was in Seattle last month it was half that. How the hell is a new chip going to help when the existing networks are so horribly over burdened? Is this anything other than marketing hype? I don’t get why this is getting so much press.
