		<description>One of the side-effects of all these mergers is the reduction or elimination of corporate sponsorship for many non-profits (including such worthy organizations as my local PBS stations, Frameline [SF&#039;s LGBT film festival] and many others).</description>

		<description>As I recall, in the mid 90&#039;s, when Apple was at its nadir and there were rumors of Sun buying Apple, Apple&#039;s sales (or was it profits?) were in the range of 2 to 3 times those of Sun.</description>
