What the f**k??? Surely you’re not suggesting that this video is genuine? It is admittedly a fairly skillful fake but, beyond that, what’s the point? Unless it is your intention to demonstrate how easy it is to fake a convincing alien invasion video—in which case, you’ve done a great job!
Most of those shots were VERY well done… a few of them had strange wobble, and the shots in and around the china protest looked like bad CG, but the rest was REALLY good.
Yeah its pretty good. Of course, a real alien invasion probably wouldn’t license the Star Wars characters.
I think the video is a statement about militarism; the Chinese demonstrators are celebrating it and it uses some video clips from the Blue Angels fly overs.

Find the original planet where they come from and you’ll know where did Lucas licensed the Star Wars characters from!
(Maybe they’re because Lucas delayed/stopped payments.)

You can feel safe… burocrats at the DS still did not finish it after what… twety years?
Some comments and a question:
– there would be no invasion, SF would throw a parade
– most of this was pretty good
– the terms “alien” and “San Francisco” are irreconcilable
What software was used to to the rotoscoping and the compositing?

Sorry, impossible to tell. It is Roswell’s technology buried in Area 51. TOP SECRET.
Hah. That’s good, an excellent example of fair use.
You do not need to see my Product Activation Key.
This is not the WGA you’re looking for.
Move along! Move along!
Skywalker Ranch and Industrial Light and Magic are both in Northern California, aren’t they? Could be viral marketing for the Clone Wars movie that’s about to come out.
Or rather, just did.
