Blog from iPhone to WordPress
August 4th, 2008
The new iPhone app for WordPress allows you to create, tag, and edit entries right from your mobile.
You can even include photos, assign multiple categories, and add password protection to a blog entry.
Will this get me writing more frequently? Probably, once I work my way out of the vacation poorhouse and get some free time to write again.

For the record, I posted this from the iPhone, using screenshots I took while I wrote it. Pretty slick!
I’m really loving Wordpress for iphone too. The only problem is that it won’t let you imbed images into the body of a post; it just dumps them at the end. So now, I tend to spend my time out on BART or MUNI writing then saving the draft and doing that last bit of work in MarsEdit.
It would seem like the perfect app, except for those of us writing in languages using letters like å, ä, and ö. For some reason Wordpress on the iPhone doesn’t reproduce these characters correctly.
You’ve been writing plenty with the marathon iPhone 3G review series. It’s becoming the equal of John Siracusa’s treatises on major releases of OS X!
Would love to be using this, alas I’m unable to set it up and have received no response from WP support. “Operation could not be completed. (NSXMLParserErrorDomain error 64.)” Upgraded to WP 2.6 as well as installing the iPhone WP app update. Still no luck.
